WHAT IS MILITARY CAMOUFLAGE NETTING?

Military camouflage netting is an accessory mainly used in the French army (especially the army) to conceal a camp and camouflage a position (the sniper's position, for example). 

It's a net that helps you blend in with your surroundings. It's one of the main tools used by the military to hide in plain sight for safety. The concept is similar to that of soldiers' camouflage uniforms. The net, however, conceals them from head to toe.

On the other hand, for external use (camouflage in the forest, on a war zone, in the desert, etc.), we recommend that you opt for camouflage netting with reinforced mesh. You can't opt for simple camouflage netting without reinforced mesh for outdoor use, as it's not weather-resistant and can tear. 

The important thing to remember: whatever type of camouflage net you choose, we strongly recommend that you think about winterizing it, especially if you're using it in an area where the weather isn't kind all year round. The net is very practical and easy to unhook during the winter months and replace in the spring.

What's more, in the event of strong winds, like any tarpaulin or outdoor fabric, it's best to dismantle it temporarily. Our camouflage nets stand the test of time.

The nets are made of high-quality, durable and hard-wearing material. It's also lightweight and foldable, making it travel-friendly. The nets are made from anti-uv polyester, making them weather-resistant. 

However, it is neither watertight nor waterproof. It's a net (and therefore obviously has small holes). 

We have a wide range of nets in different colors and designs for specific situations. So it's very important that you choose the one that best suits the environment in which you intend to use it. Otherwise, it will make you stand out rather than blend in. By way of illustration, green colors (olive-green, for example) are ideal for forests and greenery (to blend in with the vegetation and foliage), while brown netting is ideal for deserts (to blend in with the color sand).

So there's a size to suit every need, no matter how large or small the area you want to camouflage. And even if you have a space smaller or larger than these dimensions to cover, you have the option of readjusting by reducing the size or choosing two different ones to combine and get the size you want.

The dimensions shown are those obtained when the military camouflage net is laid flat. There is no possibility of them increasing, as the nets are not stretchable.

HOW TO INSTALL MILITARY CAMOUFLAGE NETTING?

Once you've purchased the net or number of military camouflage nets to suit your needs, it's essential that you install them.

The installation of military camouflage netting is simple and straightforward, regardless of the type of netting (simple or reinforced). The hanging system is the same in either case.

All you have to do is stretch the net over the surface to be camouflaged, using plastic ropes or cables to pass through the mesh. Depending on the size of the net, it's advisable to make several punctual attachment points, so that it's well positioned to facilitate its final fixing.
